The Atlantic opens out to the west while the limestone hills of the Burren rise inland. It is a place for unhurried mornings, changing light and days shaped by the weather rather than a timetable.
Fanore Beach is one of nine geosites in the Burren and Cliffs of Moher UNESCO Global Geopark. Explore the beach and limestone coast, then head inland for Doolin Cave, Aillwee Cave, Caherconnell Stone Fort or The Burren Perfumery.
